Beginning in July 2012, ATD Fourth World has been organizing a series of informal working breakfasts related to Rio+20 and the Post 2015 agenda. The purpose of these working breakfasts is to provide a convening space for Members States, civil societies, and UN agencies to contribute to the building of a unified vision for the Sustainable Development Agenda and the Post-2015 Agenda. Since its inception two years ago, these informal working breakfasts have purposefully moved towards concrete problem solving while maintaining its original open and frank atmosphere. Each breakfast typically takes place the third week of each month and begin with opening remarks by invited speakers and experts on the topic of discussion, followed by a moderated open discussion, which is open to all participants. Informal notes and programs for each event are provided after the conclusion of each breakfast.
